R99 is a handset data bearer service up to 384kbit/s which is generally known as Release 99 or R99.
HSPA means high Speed packet access. It is combination is HSUPA (High
speed uplink packet access) & HSDPA (high speed downlink packet
access) that support maximum 42Mbit/s.
